DAY 3
Step 1 - Listen to this praise and worship song: (5 mins.)
Step 2 - Pray: (5 mins.)
"Dear Heavenly Father, I want to thank you for the tremendous grace You have shown me in my life. I am grateful that Your grace is always available to me. I rejoice in Your truth, which says that in Christ Jesus I can come boldly to Your throne of grace to receive grace and mercy in my time of need. Help me to understand, ask for and receive Your grace, especially when I feel as though I do not deserve it. You are not like people or the world. You enjoy lavishing Your kindness upon me. You resist proud people, but You give grace to the humble. Help me to remain humble by remembering the sacrifice You made for me, so I could have eternal life and become a member of the family of God. Help me to remember, it is Your delight to be my source for all things. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen!"
Step 2 - Write: (5 mins.)
Take a few minutes and write down what grace means to you. Write about a time when somebody extended you grace, when you felt you didn't deserve it. How did receiving that grace make you feel? What did you think about the person who extended that grace? Also, write down areas of your life where you know you need more of God's grace and thank Him for it.
Step 3 - Memorize: (5 mins.)
Galatians 2:21 "I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness could be gained through the law, then Christ died for nothing."
Step 4 - Read the story of Noah: (10 mins.)
Read the story about God's grace toward Noah and his family. Genesis 6:5 to Genesis 7:5
Step 5 - Watch the video: (7 mins.)
Step 7 - Pray: (3 mins.)
It might be a great time to ask the Lord for grace. He gives us permission to come to His throne boldly to ask for grace and mercy in our time of need. What do you need grace for today? Consider asking Him for the grace you need; open up your heart to receive it and ask Him to help you express that grace to others.
